Oak Octagonal pergola and walkway

We were faced with a bit of a challenge here - designing and building an Oak pergola for a circular patio.
We opted to build an octagon to match the opening size of the entrance way and build a 22.5 degree pitched roof around the size of the firepit below.
All of the oak was planed down and chamfered from rough sawn green oak beams, half lap joined into place and bolted together with large stainless steel coach bolts.
